3rd October 2011 - Forbidden Planet Manga Night - Nottingham
I haven't been to a Manga Night for months, and this was the first time I'd been to the one in Nottingham. I was lucky to go really. Caroline was coming back from Poland so I was in Nottingham anyway, so decided to join in with the event. I finally met Katie, who's a big part of the Nottingham Anime and Manga Society. I've been talking to her online for quite a while but never had a chance to meet her, even though she's close to where I live, so that was awesome.
The event itself was a big success. Lots of people turned up, a few in cosplay. There was a quiz, raffle, cosplay contest, and 20% off everything in store for the hour event. I spent my time talking to quite a number of people, I was never bored. The only problem was the heat, it's supposed to be Autumn and yet it felt like a hot summer's day. I got a few photos and I hope to go again in November. These events are excellent.

4th April 2011 - Forbidden Planet Manga Night - Sheffield
After a day of surprises, and Jodie not being able to make the event because of her knee dislodging itself at the Sheffield Train Station (meaning we all went for a ride in an Ambulance), we went to the Manga Night. Hardly anyone turned up this time which wasn't good. After the March event being so good and loads of people going, it felt a bit fail this time. So for May, we need advertising, and make the event more epic. You're in Sheffield and want to meet some like minded people.. go to the Manga night in May.
7th March 2011 - Forbidden Planet Manga Night - Sheffield
The first Manga Night I'd been to at the Sheffield Forbidden Planet, and it was a lot of fun. There was a cosplay contest, quiz, and to top it off, Forbidden Planet knocked 20% off their prices. I didn't get any video footage but I took a few photos. Cheers FP, we had a good time and the host was really fun too.
