This is it then, my final blog before the Expo later this week.  I can't bloody wait.  I'm going to talk about the plans I've got going on, along with a couple of events and fun stuffs.

Thursday
The day that starts everything.  The plan is straight forward really.  Get train to London, get to hotel, throw stuff in room, go to Asda to get food and drinks, then head off into London to go to The Japan Centre, Forbidden Planet, China Town, McDonalds, and a look in the M&M's store might be worth a look to see if the prices have gone down.  We'll be heading off at about 4pm.  Then it's over to the Waterloo zone, London Eye area, to the Namco Arcade at around 7pm.  I'll take all comers at Air Hockey, and beat the crap out of anyone daring enough to do the bumper cars!  I'll also beat Deal Or No Deal again because last time I got 200 tickets, I was the winner!  Whoo hooooo.  Finally, to the ferry at about 9pm which goes from the London Eye to the Millenium Dome... O2 Arena.  That still needs a wash by the way!  Then from O2, back on the underground to the ExCeL (Custom House), where I know I want to have a walk through.  It's always good walking through the ExCeL on Thursday.  Back to Premier Inn, get bugger all sleep into Friday.

Friday
This is a good day to shop, and to get some good footage of the Expo when it's more empty.  It's the relaxing day before the storm that comes Saturday, trying to get around thousands of people.  On the Friday evening, it's my Friday Night Games Meet at West Entrance of ExCeL (inside at the tables), 7pm, where we'll be playing Magic The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7.  These three games are in a set of tournaments I'm hosting, well I'll have all the paperwork but the Yu-Gi-Oh tourny will be more prepared by the players themselves.  Depending on how many people we have for the tournaments, it could be either knockout or Royal Rumble rules.  We'll be going for food before 7pm, anyone going to the event, I suggest you do the same and eat first.

Saturday
The big day.  There's loads to see, cosplays will be everywhere, there's going to be loads of gaming shows at the GameSpot stage, Totally Cosplay stage will have a mini-cosplay show, and the MK Dance Group will be performing.  In the afternoon, the Euro Cosplay Championships will have the qualifier going on, which I'll hopefully record as long as the lighting isn't too dark... that's my fear for filming Masquerade after last October's finals were a bit too dark.  On the Saturday night, no real plans.  If anyone's up for a games pub quiz, I might do that.  My camcorders will be doing overtime on Saturday, and my new head cam will be doing a good wander for an hour or two.

Sunday
The last day of Expo, but still all good.  This will be another relaxing day, and doing a bit of extra shopping knowing me, this is where my pounds fly out of the wallet.  The Masquerade is on in the afternoon to end it all with style.  God knows what Stuart Claw will have up his sleeves, but it's likely he'll have some crazy stuff planned since I mentioned the Family Fortunes thing.  STUART CLAW FOR GAMES MASTER!  After Expo, food, and then at about 8.15pm, at the East Car Park near the Ramada / Premier Inn, where we'll be playing a singles football challenge.  It'll be fast, epic, and if you don't want to play, please come and watch.  I am really wanting to play, but having a bad hip, it'll really depend on how hectic the Expo has been for me and how much pain I'll be in.  I know it's going to be painful, but I am so wanting to take part even though I doubt I'd win.  Finally, late on, if anyone wants to play a big multi-player game of Magic The Gathering, then all's good.  It's a good night to have the last bits of fun because it's another 5 months before the next London Expo.

Monday
Time to go home... bastard!

That's it I think.  If it isn't, I'll make a second updated blog with the extras?  Doubt I'll have time though.  Tomorrow I'm getting BT Infinity, just in time for next week's massive uploads, and Wednesday I want to pack.  So LET'S DO THIS!

I'm going to make a quick bloggy review here about Marvel's Avengers Assemble and say it's probably the best film I've seen at the cinema for a long, long time.  I wasn't expecting it being so good.  I want a hammer like that!

Me and my awesome wife had a date in Nottingham.  The film to see was Avengers Assemble, as it is the biggest film of the moment.  The hype is well worth it, there is a story, and it's a lot of fun.  Though I'm more a fan of Japanese comics, Marvel have really brought these action heroes to life.  Ironman is of course the funniest out of the lot, Captain America is typically American.  Hehe.  If it weren't for The Hulk, they'd not have survived.  Thor is awesome, but that's because he was in Home And Away.  Black Widow and that dude I've never heard of with the bow and arrows, Hawkeye, they have some pretty impressive abilities.  The bad guy, Loki, a compete newb does need a good kick in the teeth, and he got one.  The scene with him and Hulk, classic!  Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury... he has to get his own film!  This is a film with a brilliant mixture of hero and villain.

The movie is either action and kick ass, or comedy, all the way through.  As soon as this hits the shops, I'm buying it.  In fact, I'm going to buy all the DVDs and make me an Avengers collection.  I'm probably one of the last people to be doing that who's a fan of the genre?  Anyhoo, great movie and acting, it's one of the most perfct action movies ever made.  Told ya, not a long blog, but enough to say... IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN AVENGERS ASSEMBLE... GO GO GO!

Congratulations to Manchester City for winning the 2011 / 2012 Premier League title.  Any team to upset Man Utd in my books is good, but the other team from Manchester doing it is even better.

Now even though Man City won the title, would they have done it if they hadn't got any money?  This is why I stopped following football around 10 years ago, because my team, Leeds United, contained players who wanted money more than honour of the game.  I'll always be a Leeds fan but money has spoilt football.

I follow the European Cup and World Cup now, and that's it really.  I keep an eye on Leeds United but I'm not an avid follower like I used to be.  I love cheering Japan on in the World Cup, have done for the last three Cups.  As for the 2012 European Cup, I'll be cheering on England for the first time in years.  We have a British manager again, all good cause to cheer for a full national team.  I hate the international game being ruined by foreign managers joining a national team, when it's clear they only want the money.  That dick who managed England last was full proof of that.  No honour, not bothered if they win or lose, just bloody money.

Football should be reset.  If each team only allows 2-3 foreign players in, this would stop greedy bastards ruining the game.  It'd also give more choice for the national team rather than having Wayne Rooney up front.  He can't cope under pressure and he'll prove that yet again in the Euro 2012.  But who else have we got?  In fact, foootball should be a local game, that'd make it a lot more interesting.

There will be people who disagree with me on this one, and as usual, I'm not bothered.  I have my opinion, other football fans have theirs.  These are my views, if you have a comment, make it constructive instead of personal and insulting.  Mind you, pick up on this one.. Wayne Ronney and Man Utd are annoying!  End!  Haha.

It seems that every time I see Britain's Got Talent, something annoys me.  It's not just Simon Cowell looking down his nose at everyone because he thinks he's God, not this time anyway.  Amanda Holden has never been on my top list of favourite celebrities, she's annoying with that laugh and Les Dennis will always be better off without her.  Last night though, she really did piss me off.

Greig Stewart, aka Theremin Hero, got on stage to do his semi-final performance, and even though he made a few mistakes that weren't his fault, Amanda Holden talked down to him because he was a geek... so what?  Greig is someone I'd likely be good friends with.  When she insulted him by waving her bitchy hand in front of her mouth AFTER she'd said her piece and there was no chance he was getting to the finals, what the hell, was there any need for that?  Well, that insulted every geek everywhere... the bitch!

Theremin Hero will be a hero for many.  A gamer who created his own 8-bit musical instrument.  That's so clever.  He only made mistakes on the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals because the lighting was awful, and I'm sure it would have made him really nervous playing in front of millions of TV viewers.  I think a more gamey song would have been better too.  Maybe Greig should have saved the Tetris tune for the semi-finals and done Legend Of Zelda at the main audition?

I love how the judges thought it got better when the dancers came on.  Yes, of course it was considering that's all they give a toss about, and not the actual performer.  I think half the time when these people with talents get to the next stage, the BGT crew decide what's going to happen next and rape the performance half the time.  The same goes for The X Factor when the judges choose songs for the singers and sometimes the songs just aren't right for their voices.  It's like getting an opera singer to perform a Steps song, and if they can't do it like Steps, they should get booted off, that's what the judges think because they know bugger all.  By the way, since when was Amanda Holden talented???

I won't be watching the final of Britain's Got Talent.  I'm already dreading other shows like Big Brother and The X Factor coming back.  Can't we have something new now?  Or bring Games Master back!  TV is such a big pile of shit!

I am a massive Fast and Furious fan.  All five films are amazing in every way, and since Fast Five came out last year, I've been really looking forward to the sixth film because of how the last one ended.

There's great news for Fast and Furious 6, that'll be released in May 2013.  David Tennant could be in it.  Now at the moment this is just a rumour.  Apparently, he's been having talks over Skype with the producers of the movie, but that's still amazing al the same.  If David Tennant, the legend that made Doctor Who cool again, and one hell of an actor, actually appeared in the next Fast and Furious movie, I would quite frankly hate the planet if it died before next year... though I'd not be around to hate on Earth, I'd still find a way to get revenge on Mother Nature.  Ok, I'm talking crap, I'm just so excited to hear this news.  Please David, if you manage to read this blog, read my words.... TAKE THE JOB!  FAST AND FURIOUS IS AWESOME.

Picture
Where there is good news, there's also bad news... which could be good news if she doesn't take the job.  Get this.  Rihanna was rumoured to be in Fast and Furious 6 as well, and when I found out this news, I was almost sick because I DO NOT want her to be in the movie.  I might be told off by Rihanna fanboys and girls for this, but I can't stand anything about her.  The attitude, sound of her voice, her annoying songs, the look, everything about her I cannot stand.
Good news, it's now come to light that she isn't interested in the job.  YES!  Rihanna, leave Fast Six alone, it wouldn't suit you!  In other words... DON'T RUIN ONE OF THE BEST MOVIE FRANCHISES EVER!

I'm so pumped up for all the new movies coming out by Vin Diesel in 2010.  Riddick 3, xXx 3, and Fast and Furious 6.  Vinny, you're awesome.  Also in Fast Six, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Paul Walker, and someone new called Gina Carano, will all be making appearances.  Ohhhh, I had to make this blog.  Come on David, take the damn job!

I just managed to see the J.J. Abrams movie, Super 8.  Firstly, I'll tell you what I think of the movie with no spoilers.  It was predictable but at the same time a lot of fun.  I see why people compared Super 8 to The Goonies, but it's not quite on par with that for the youngsters' off the rail comedy.  I won't say the end just in case you, the reader of my blog, hasn't had the chance to see it yet.  It's definitely worth watching for the train scene, that is epic.

Now to my J.J. Abrams theory of what the hell this film is, without telling you the ending.  If you want to know more about what I say here, you'll just have to watch Super 8, but do me a huge favour, watch the whole series of Lost first, you won't regret it.

Picture
One of the finest series of our time is Lost.  It was 6 seasons long, the first two being the best before Abrams started including more predictable things.  I'll state it here that the ending could have been better but the series as a whole was very touching.  As an avid Lost fan, I kept making theories that could happen, and I had an idea of the ending from the very first season... which good ol' J.J. Abrams used in Super 8.  I had a lot of fun watching and talking about Lost, I miss those days.

So there's two ideas running through my head that J.J. Abrams could have been thinking.  This will make more sense to the Losties of the world, and definitely to those who watched all of Lost and then Super 8.

One... Abrams created Lost, and it was epic.  But after 3-4 seasons, things kept slipping with the storyline and he might have realised that the fans had got the right idea about what was going to happen at the end of Lost, so he kept changing things so nobody would ever know.  The ending reveals one thing... nobody would ever have guessed how it could have ended because it was so screwy.  That's not a reason not to watch the series if you haven't.  My second theory on J.J. Abrams' idea is more likely...

Two... Abrams had an idea for Lost and was going to use it, but thought he'd made enough Lost fans so could afford to let it go off the tracks a bit, and saved the original idea of Lost for Super 8.  Now that seems more logical than anything.  Do you agree?

I'd have loved to have seen the ending of Super 8 in Lost, it'd have made more sense, even if the fans did have an idea what could have happened with the island's monster.  I'd have much prefered for J.J. Abrams to have stuck to his guns and gone with his original ideas for Lost, instead of taking them away and trying to make films out of them.  I could be wrong, I could be right, only J.J. Abrams can answer my questions here, but I know he wouldn't even if he was my buddy.

After writng this blog, I've got the urge to watch all of Lost again, it's really that good.  To be honest though, I wish J.J. Abrams would give me the rights to re-write the story from series three, and instead of going over the top with it all, he should have only made four seasons instead of six.  Prison Break knew what it was and when to end, and Abrams did only five seasons on Alias which was enough (well maybe a season too long?!).

My final bit of my blog, I'd like to thank J.J. Abrams for making such an amazing story such as Lost, and having a wild imagination to share with everyone.  But after watching the end of Lost, and seeing other shows like Flash Forward and Heroes getting cancelled and the arsehole TV companies not giving a budget or rights to make ONE FINAL EPISODE TO END IT PROPERLY.. I've lost a lot of faith in these TV shows.  But I would like to say that I'm still a massive fan of Lost, and would love to see a show like this made again in the future.  I haven't seen any of Alcatraz because I don't want to feel disappointed if it gets cancelled, I'll be waiting for the full DVD box set just in case.  I'm a patient man.

Only 3 weeks left before we head down to London ExCeL for another weekend of fun and frolics as the MCM Expo is back.  This is my first blog with a few hinters of celebs, and I've got my own events to go on about too.  I have a bit of news about my future at Expo which will be changing from this year into next.

Celebrities
Three celebs I'd like to mention are Casandra Peterson, who stars in Elvira's Haunted Hills.  It'll be interesting to see what she's dressed like.  Noel Clarke, who's promoting his latest flick, Storage 24.  Noel is famous for being in Doctor Who and more recently in a few British movies, he's going to be a bigger name in a couple of years.  Finally, Ali Hillis, who's going to be talking about her voice role in Final Fantasy XIII-2 as Claire 'Lightning' Farron.  She's also done lots of other voice work in games and anime, from Dead Or Alive Paradise and Ninja Gaiden 3, to Naruto Shippuden as Karin to Star Wars: Old Republic.  Very nice career.

Places to visit in Expo

First off, if you're doing a bit of shopping, go find the Sheffield Space Centre tables, they'll have loads of stuff on sale.  If you're after playing the latest games, they'll be there too.  I have my fingers crossed for Dead Or Alive 5 at the Tecmo Koei stand.  For cosplay, there will be the Totally Cosplay stage which will also play host to the MK Dance Group, and later in the day on Saturday and Sunday you can see the Cosplay Masquerade.  There will be the qualifiers for the European Cosplay Championships 2012 on the Saturday, so get ready for that.

My Events...

Friday Night Games Meet - From 7pm - West Entrance of ExCeL inside at the nearest tables

This is an official MCM Fringe event, so if you go on their website, you'll see this on the schedule.  It'll be a fun event to meet new people, catch up with old friends, and from about 8pm, I will be hosting three competitions for Magic The Gathering, YuGiOh, and Mario Kart DS Vs 7.  Rules will be coming soon in blog and video
form

Sunday Night Football - From 8.30pm - East ExCeL Car Park
This will be nuts.  I'm calling it a weekend of Knockout Games, and this is another.  It'll be singles competition
all the way, rules and stuff will be coming again in blog and video form, so Sunday night, if you have bugger all to do, this will be a lot of fun... unless you get knocked out in the first round.

Thursday Namco Games

Not sure if I'll be holding any tournaments here, but if you're in London on the Thursday before Expo, then get yourself to the Namco Arcade near the London Eye for some games.  I'll play you at some.

Okies, that's it for now.  Only one other piece of news about my videos and events...

I will be going back to my old format.  Whatever I film will go in order, so no Masquerade footage first.  I'm even thinking about slowing my videos down from 2013, but I've said that before.  When it comes to events, I'm not organising anything for the October 2012 MCM Expo and let someone else do it.  I don't want to say I'm getting too old for this kind of thing because my wife will kill me, but I want to give this sort of thing a rest and relax a bit.  I might make little events every May, that'd be a lot easier, but for now, I've got the frame
of mind where I need to slow down.

I'll be making another Expo blog next week, and my video/s will be coming very soon.  Let's do this.

Nobody on the planet can play a bad guy like Samuel L. Jackson does.  He's back again in this cheap flick about an internet death match site, where people can watch idiots actually fighting to the death.  Of course Samuel is the brain child of the idea, playing the evil villain, Logan.
Some bloke called David Lord gets kidnapped and forced into fighting for his life.  He's lied to, tortured, and made to battle people he doesn't know to save his own skin.  Sounds like fun doesn't it?  It isn't.  The only decent parts of the film really are Samuel L. Jackson laughing his head off at the fact he's getting rich off of innocent people dying.
The main character played by Kellan Lutz, gets cut up to hell all the way through the movie, and stating he's called David Lord, and not Death Dealer as Logan demands.  There's a nice twist to the end of the movie which saves the film, but to be honest, it's like Death Race with no action, and no real bitch to hate.
There's a few pointless parts like Katia Winter, playing a character called Milla, getting undressed for no reason.  I don't know what it is with some movies, but getting people out of their clothes tends to ruin movies for me.  She goes totally bare, I wonder what her mother thinks?  There's also the fact that David Lord turns into a complete twat, meaning there's no role models in the movie, and every film needs someone to look up to.  It's a bit like another L. Jackson movie called Jumper, that was so bad, they were writing the script as they were filming, and the main character never recovered from being a pompous arsehole.
There are a few good scenes to the film with the lopping off of heads.  There are a lot more bad scenes though, like the fighting.  The battles feel rushed and there's no real plan to how they're going to end well.  Nothing original anyway.  It's just a lot of blood, and the fights try their hardest to make you go 'ouch', but that's never really delivered at any point through the entire flick.

Now it pains me to slag off a Samuel L. Jackson movie, seeing as I'm a huge fan, and I know he's going to do a lot better in Avengers Assemble as Nick Fury, so I think we can forgive this attempt at being violent.  I wouldn't show this to a small child, but I doubt it'd effect them much if you did?

I saw another L. Jackson movie the other day as well.  Resurrecting The Champ it's called, and you know what, that's another film with a twist at the end.  I really enjoyed watching that one and shows more of what Samuel can do with his acting abilities.  It might have been a bit slow moving at times, but it did what it intended and told a story that can relate to all of us at some point in our lives.  Check that out, avoid Arena.  Unless you're a Samuel L. Jackson fan as I am, I think you can watch a lot more decent movies than this.

The newest game in the Dead Or Alive franchise will be released on Xbox 360 in September 2012.  If you can't wait until then, and if you already haven't bought it, get a Nintendo 3DS system and buy Dead Or Alive Dimensions.  I actually prefer Dimensions over DOA4, it's so smooth, and it never gets boring beating the crap out of your opponent and smashing them through a window!  Oh, that feels good.

I think Dead Or Alive 5 will stick to the promise of the recent demo, and the footage that's available.  You can see more on.. teamninja-studio.com/doa5/

Now then, as a MCM Expo goer, I'm hoping that Tecmo Koei will be revealing the game there so me and some of Team Times can have some battles, and write a few reviews.  After Expo, as long as the game is there, I'll come home and review what I've played.  I'm really excited about playing DOA5, September can't come fast enough.  I think there will be a few competitions going once it's released.

If you check the internet for Japanese imports, I think there may be a few new Gashapons being released alongside the new game.  I think I'll have to nip on (no pun intended) to Play-Asia and have a gander at all the new stuff when the time is right.  OR, better still, as I said before about Expo, there will be lots of things for sale there, I hope to do with Dead Or Alive 5.  There's not a lot I can really say at the moment until I get my hands on the game, but I'm so excited.  Just know, there's going to be a lot more smashing up action to expect.

MCM London Expo news will be filtering through TonyoTimes.com from the beginning of May 2012, so keep reading, and hope to see you at the event.  You never know, I might have you a game of DOA5 while we're there?

Well it looks like I fell victim to a big pile of shit when I did my blog about Beatrix Von Bourbon.  I read a news article on a large popular news website and it did state that Beatrix Von Bourbon was called Gemma Parker, which when I checked, they have removed that part.  Why the hell would I put that if it wasn't true, that's stupid.  So for all the comments I got recently, I felt I needed to explain that, it's the least I could do.  In future, when reading news websites, I will do further research into someone's name if needs be.
My original article can be read here along with a lot of decent comments, mixed in with a few stupid children troll shit... www.tonyotimes.com/29/post/2012/03/beatrix-von-bourbon-on-bgt.html

Now then, as for my opinions on Britain's Got Talent, and my interests of Burlesque, I stand by what I say.  It's just something I think should remain elsewhere other than a FAMILY SHOW!  I don't think some of the commenters of my original blog actually read it properly, they just thought I'd got her name wrong and jumped on me.  I don't like Burlesque, I think it's a waste of time and should remain on a private stage away from children, and if I don't know what it's really about, I'm sorry but I just don't care that much.  I'm entitled to my opinion as anyone else, and I accept any opinion and comments, hence why I'm respecting the facts and making a new blog for you.  Yes, I was wrong about her name, but I'm not sorry for saying what I think.

Also, I didn't have a go at her, I was having a go at Simon Cowell and his people for saying how great she was because she's thin more than anything.  Anyone huge would have got Cowell's buzz.  You know that's true.  If anyone wants to do this kind of dance, then fair enough, I haven't got anything against it.  But there's a time and a place, and the judges of Britain's Got Talent only want to have sex with each other and anyone that Simon Cowell fancies.

For the ones who have been constructive, I thank you, for the ones who got stupid, personal and rude, please do me a favour and read my article properly and shove this one up your arse!  Though I must thank everyone for giving me a laugh on a rainy day.  Hopefully I'll get a few more comments on this, it defo gives my small time website a boost... that I also accept, so for the one agreeing with me on that, you're not wrong.

Ashley Elliott FTW!
