So yeah it’s like 1am going on 2am and I’ve had a really good idea for a blog (well 3 or 4)… crazy I know right? But I was flicking through YouTube sharing videos with night core music and remixes of songs that are just so epic compared to a lot of the shit in the charts today. ( ok theres a good song once in a blue moon but that’s it) Anyway we got going through Basshunter, and some others then Popcorn appeared (how old is that? But I still love it!) And then The amazing tetris tunage! So I have decided to write about my top 5 oldest artists that have had meaning to me =) from hearing it when I was little to being on my play list during studio time at college. (nope not gonna include Jeremy Soule although he deserves a mention because he’s awesome!)
Number 5: Nobuo Uematsu
Only number 5 because hes more of a recent influence, but here is the college influence I was talking about, but then how could he not influence people in anyway? As one of the biggest composers and writers of music in the videos Games industry if anyone here hasn’t heard of him you should be ashamed of yourself! And listen to this link maybe it will bump your memory!

Number 4: Queen
Queen was always played in this house, my sister is a massive fan, I guess that’s why even now I listen to them, although a band like Queen who is so well known on a large international scale for their music even today Freddie was an iconic star and still is to most people today. So with that I give you a link to my favorite video of theirs “it’s a kind of Magic”

3: Status Quo
Still going strong today, but when they were younger they set the UK rocking around the world, or well with me, at least the livingroom! I remember mum used to get the LP out and play it out loud when she was cleaning , yes BEFORE CD’S, wow technology has come a log way since I was little O.O

2: Vanessa Mae
A violinist who from a young age of 13 was already famous! She made those who wouldn’t usually listen o classical music listen to it, and made it interesting.

1: Jean michelle Jarre
Now the reason this guy is my number one is simple, he is friggin epic! He was the first person to ever do a live laser show he took over an entire city brought it to a stand still with his music. And done it again in 2000. If you never heard of him before you should go and listen he really is worth the time to stop for! Heard and watched the videos when I was very little, and still love them today =) enjoy!
